Sweden has done it again!

A big shame on Sweden´s county administrations. M.C

The article below is translated from the daily news

"On March 1, this year's license hunt for lynx, Sweden's only wild feline that is also protected, begins. This year, Sweden's county administrations have decided that a total of 201 lynxes may be shot, almost twice as many compared to last year when 125 lynxes were allowed to be shot (a total of 110 were killed)."

Nature Conservation Society: "Pure hunting"

However, this year's hunt is attracting criticism from several quarters. The World Wildlife Fund writes that the increase in the Swedish lynx population is slow.

"Illegal hunting still occurs and, together with legal hunting, is the biggest cause of death for adult lynx," the organization writes in a statement.

Even the Nature Conservation Society thinks it is a far too harsh hunt.
