August 10th 1989 was the car I was riding in as passenger hit from the back by a truck. To get me out of the wreck the roof was cut of. My injuries were a broken spinal and a severe whip lash. The injuries limited participation at dog shows because of tirening travel on bad Swedish country roads. What was good was the 18 hours a day work with my salukis, it real did heal the broken spinal, worst was and still is to lay at bed or sitting. In 1995 I left Sweden together with ALL my dogs and my fullblood arabian stallion for Denmark, a country with flat good maintained roads where I could take myself around by bicycle.
There were no dogs in the car.
The car was transported from the place for the crash to the parkingplace where I snapped photos jumping on two cans. Swedes (in general) who have a strain of insulting manners always ask "were you the driver".
I am back in Sweden.
